It would be fantastic if someone could truly answer these questions about Samsung Electronics:

1. What is the company’s officially authorized form of ownership
(I reckon it’s corporate? Delight right me if I’m incorrect)

2. Can stock in the company be bought by the public? If yes, on what stock exchange is the company’s stock traded?

3. What is the current price of the stock? (Date and time would be much helpful)

4. How is the stock rated? From what companies/sources were the ratings obtained?

5. What method of financing does the company emply? Clarify their philosophy on debt and equity financing, and list any outstanding debts.

6. Would you personally invest stock in this firm? Why or Why not?

Samsung Electronics is listed on the London, Seoul, and Luxemburg stock exchanges.

SAMSUNG Electronics was incorporated in 1969 as SAMSUNG Electronics Manufacturing, and became listed in Korea Stock Exchange on June 11th, 1975. In 1984, the company was renamed as SAMSUNG Electronics.

As someone residing outside of Korea, you may invest in SAMSUNG stock (005930, 005935) through a qualified institutional broker in Seoul. For information regarding investment in SAMSUNG GDR, delight contact your broker.
