Q&A: how do i put music on my htc touch diamond through the USB cable ?

I’m having problems getting music from my itunes onto my htc touch diamond. I have already opened itunes, plugged in the USB cord from the phone to the computer , and dragged the media files into the removable disk icon (my phone) folder. It shows on the computer that the media files are there , but on my phone , there not. Someone delight delight help me !

The music you download from iTunes is drm protected. in order to play it on non-apple mp3/mp4 players, you need to remove the drm and convert the protected music to drm free mp3 format. the simplest way is to burn an audio cd in itunes and rip it back as mp3 format. Or you can get some software to help you.

As the music in iTunes is encrypted with DRM, you cannot directly place it on any non-Apple MP3 player. The simplest way is:

1. Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Burn your playlist to make an audio CD.
3. After the audio CD is fruitfully burned, insert the disc into your CD-ROM drive again. Then you can use iTunes to import the music tracks on the burned disc as MP3 files.

Or you can get some software to help you. I use TuneClone M4P to MP3 Converter ( http://www.tuneclone.com/m4p-to-mp3-converter.php ) to do this. Though not free, it is very well worth a try. It generates a virtual CD drive to help to remove the DRM element without having to waste actual CD’s.

I was wondering what plot i needed in order to be able to use an htc touch diamond and what plans are compatible with it.

It is recommended that you get an unlimited data plot or add on to your line.
