When does the htc Hero\G1Touch launch in the US?

Im looking at export a phone and i don’t know which to get, the htc hero g2 or the apple iphone 3g.

Both phones look really excellent and get very excellent reviews, obviously the iphone is a very excellent phone, because of all the apps but the htc hero looks excellent to.

the only conundrum with the 3g is having no video recording and only a 2mp camera compared to the htc hero g2′s 5mp.

Im not going to buy the iPhone 3gs as i feel its way to expensive essentially for a phone.

Should i buy the htc hero g2 or the iphone 3g. Or perhaps wait till apple launch the next iphone 4g in the summer so the price of the 3gs goes down ?

you got a tough question there! but your on the right track though. my comparison goes like this:

Through Specs:
when comparing the specs of coarse htc hero wins most of the features.
in only the screen department the iphone leads here. not only in the colors but also clarity and contrast or sunlight legibility the iPhone beats each thing else out there.
htc is the sure winner in all other departments like 5mp cam, video, geotaging, autofocus, higher ram, applications ( for your info Android applications has a very fantastic potential and it is increasing everyday), youtube intigration and video calling camera.

note: even the htc has video it is not even considerable it’s only cif @ 15fps means less than average video quality. in matter-of-fact you dont even shoot videos with that cheap quality. though something is better than nothing no!

The apple has its own advantages over htc. its the best of touchscren phones ever. It’s application library is vast and none other is even come close to matching them in facts. you better believeit coz i’m not joking. And you might also know thw quality f the ipod and there are nothing different b/w them. The user interface is the bonus. if you start by it u’ll get addicted to it, believe when i say. it’s that charming. it’s browser is among the best in the mobile world. (ofcoarse it can be achieved if speed is matter with opera browser)

Finally the things back to your court choose for what you espacially want your phone to do! And my choice is Iphone. ot’s simple for each thing else there is i can get SLR another gadget.
