Perpendicular ht of right circular cone is h. Slant ht is l. Semivertical angle is a.?
What is the value of curved surface?
Answer by sreenivasbs55
Semivertical Angle = Cos-1(h/l)
Curved surface area = pi /2 x h x sqrt(l^2 – h^2)

The unencumbered area of a cone (which is the surface area but NOT including the base of the cone) is π*r*s, everywhere r is the radius and s is the slant height. You’re given r and s, so this should be simple to calculate.

pi x r x l = pi x 2.7 x 5.8 =49.197341 square inch
Answer by buoisang
Unencumbered surface area = PI*R*R + PI*R*L
PI = 3.14
R =radius
L = slant height
