Buying Htc Hero. Sprint?

Buying Htc Hero. Sprint?

Ok well i have a question about the data service charges are on sprint.

Well i have blocked internet and i am not in a unlimited internet plot, so if i were to try to activate the HTC Hero would they question me to upgrade to the unlimited plot?

I am doubtless export this phone off of ebay or craigslist soon so it’s not a contract phone.

Oh my goodness! For the like of mercy do not buy that phone. The Hero is my current phone and it’s the most annoying phone I’ve ever had. It lags too much, freezes, goes black when I try to rub out my messages, etc. It’s a pain to have. I’m not sure if it’s just my phone but I’m switching to a new phone because I can’t stand it.

Sorry for not answering your question.

What do you reckon? Answer below!

Well as of right now I have owned both. I liked the Palm but Hardware doesnt hold up, and it mulitasks very well. As to features the Hero Blows it out of the water. The Hero has a larger screen, and is multitouch just like the pre. The hardware feels more stable. Back to features, Android which is the OS on the Hero has around 5 to 8 THOUSAND apps available in the promote house, the Pre has like 40. The comment about who is HTC is dumb, HTC is the leader in smartphones. They sale more then any other company.

Oh one huge issue I had with the Pre is battery life, it was HORRIBLE. I was worried to look at my phone because it would drop about 5% each time I turned it on to check something. If I only responded to texts or took 1 or 2 calls it would last about 6 hours before needing to be charged. So far with the Hero I went a excellent 6 hours nonstop on it and I still had half a battery.
