First, make sure HTC Sync is installed on your computer. If it’s already installed skip this paragraph. If for some reason you don’t have HTC Sync on your computer you should be able to find it on your SD card. Or you can download it right from the web here http://www.htc.com/us/support/hero-sprint/downloads/ When you synchronize your phone make sure USB debugging is checked under Settings>Applications>Enhancement
When you connect your phone to your computer via usb, a HTC sync menu pops up. Select the third & last option “Application Installer”. It then guides you through the installation process. It’s simple as long as you remember everywhere the app was saved.
If that doesn’t work, try opening the app on your computer while your phone is connected to your computer. I used this method last night and it worked fine.
You’ll also want to make sure your settings allow the installation of the app. Check the “unknown sources” option under Settings>Applications
Hope that helps!
