Nexus One or HTC Desire?

Nexus One or HTC Desire?

HTC Sense looks sweet on Desire, but are there disadvantages having Sense on Android?
Does it limit some capabilities? How’s the processor/memory usage? I hope the price is similar or close.

I’m plotting to buy one of them, and since Nexus One is not yet launched here, possibly I’ll wait which one comes here first. :)

The largest difference is Sense since the internals are pretty much like peas in a pod. The one downside to having Sense on your phone is that you’ll have to wait for HTC to release updates while the Nexus One with stock Android will get updates pushed out directly from Google.

I’m slightly more towards Htc desire because:
1.It supports sparkle fully in the browser
2.better multitouch support (since this has just been recently implemented into the native android OS and the bugs have not been fully smoothed out yet, the phone itself supports multitouch but the OS doesn’t very well)
3.higher ram(576mb as opposed to 512 in the nexus)
4. you can doubtless unroot it (well you can with all other HTC phones but you can’t with the nexus one since it has this lock thingy…)
5.Sense

You can root the nexus one and place in the HTC rom which makes it very similiar.
The nexus one has signal cancellation but the Desire doesn’t.
Desire has an fm radio reciever but the nexus doesn’t

i have the LG ally (android). its VERY nice. i reckon iphones are overvalued and i have a bunch of friends that have traded theirs in for other phones. they are very pricey as well and you can get something like what i have that can do just as much stuff (doubtless better) and cheaper than the iphone

iphones are like ipod touches but with features that phones have but androids are excellent too
equate these two excellent phones:

Verizon adds 2.2 million iPhones in its first quarter
