I altered the RAM after someone pointed out to me that the motherboard can only run DDR3 in dual channel so just want to make sure this is all fine. Thanks

everything is fantastic, but you need fans. or liquid cooling if that’s your preference
oh and that thermal paste for your processor heatsink

yes they will work, but looking at you ram it does not seem that you will have dual channel (because to make dual channel work you have to have a matched pair of what ever ram you intend to use and same brand; get 2ocz) . and if you want a really quick pc get a SSD quicker than any hard drive.
