where can i find the cost of the stock for a certain company?

Whats the price of a stock for Apple Inc.? If you had to recommend any 3 companies to me or anywhere else to invest $ 20,000, which companies would u pick? Give me your top 3 choices and why?

I’m cureently lookn at apple due to the success of the ipod, mac and the soon releasing of the iphone. Any thoughts are helpful.

Three stocks would include

STLD or RTI, strong steel company
COH – strong retailer
MSTR – holding well overall

AAPL, I reckon needs more rest before heading up.

Now I sold 110 shares of apple stock at $ 94 dollars, to collect a gain. I had originally bought the stock at $ 90 about a month ago. What are the rules with export and promotion stock. Can I re buy the stock if it goes down to a price I want to buy at the same day, or the next?

Sure, there are only rules against promotion to capture a loss. A Wash-sale rule requires a 31 day wait. But if you took gains you can buy it back whenever you want.

And just to be clear, you can buy immediately even if subject to the wash-sale rule, you just have to adjust it if you still own it at the end of year when you file your taxes.
