Can I buy an HTC Touch Pro from Verizon without a data plan?

I tried to get one from the store and they said I had to buy a data plot too. Is that right? Can I buy the phone online from Verizon and not buy the data plot?

Yes… but it would cost you about 600 dollars… so not a excellent thought unless you have the money….

If you plot on activating the phone with Verizon, then no, you can’t buy it without the data plot. Verizon requires all PDA/Smartphones to have a data plot in order to be activated.

search on ebay.com they mgiht have cheap ones otherwise you can check verizon,us cellular,t-mobile,cricket,virgin mobile,kajeet,sprint, and at&t
