mine last about 4 hours but i’m a streaming fan like pandora, aol radio, and anything else that can spill. I herd from watching beta testers testing out the new 3.0 software that it will come with a battery api witch earnings it should extend the battery life.

This is a fantastic question! I was going to question this for myself.

Getting 3.5 hours out of your iPhone if you’re using the internet and before a live audience music is pretty normal as I’ve come to realize.

Take a look at this screenshot right here which shows that I used the 3G internet for a long period of time while firing up additional applications:

3.25 hours is about as much time as I can get out of my iPhone if I’m using the internet extensively. This is with the brightness all the way up (Auto-brightness off), Wifi on (but not active), Push off and 3G on.

But, you can squeeze days out of your iPhone just by leaving it in Stand-by mode (which is just the iPhone’s screen turned off and sleeping).

You can pretty much use the phone all day using whatever you need and then charge it every night. The iPhone usually will not last more than one day without charge though.

I usually only buy music on my iphone and we just got a home computer and im wondering how to get my music on itunes without deleting my music on my iphone. Can you give step by step instructions?

Answer by Raven
If you were dumb enough to really buy the horrible-quality files/downloads from Apple, then all you have to do is sign into your account and they’ll be there.
