Why would anyone manufacture an android tablet without access to market?

Isn’t the whole point of having android to be able to get apps from market? You would never see an ipad without access to app store.

becuase google has not allowed access to Marketplace unless your on a mobile, but they have their own version of market place, and theres a small app/hack that will allow your android tablet to emulate a cell phone and thus give you access to marketplace.

Today Amazon officially unveiled their Android application store with 3800 apps. Why did Amazon launch their own app store? There are a few reasons that we can reckon of.
