Cheapest way to get HTC Incedible?

Cheapest way to get HTC Incedible?

My verizon phone is broken (the hardware and software is horrible, i had nothing to do with it breaking, it is still in fantastic condition otherwise) and I am only like 6 months into the 2 year contract. I want to upgrade to the htc Incredible, but if it’s the $ 600 price I see everywhere, is there another, cheaper way to buy it and add it onto my existing plot?

Also, would i have to pay to cancel my current phone as it broke due to the manufacturers fault? they stopped making it..

If you get the HTC Incredible on eBay, it will not be the full price. Wait a few months (the demand is currently higher than the supply, and Verizon life backlogged will make the phone more expensive) and go on eBay. I did this for my Moto Droid. The auctions typically closed at $ 300 but with a bit of patience, my Mom was able to buy herself one for $ 175 and I got mine for $ 200 from established sellers, contract-free. The Incredible now goes for between $ 350 and $ 400

If you cancel the phone plot before the two year contract is up, you will have to pay a abandonment fee (varies depending on phone type and contract date; check your contract). But if you just want to switch your phone, you can do this with a phone call to Customer Service, due to the necessity of adding the data plot. They will do the phone switch for free.

Sometimes they also have specials, such as one I ran into where they were offering non-smartphone users to instantly upgrade to a 3G smartphone. Contact Verizon and they can let you know if they’re something similar in your area and if you qualify.

Hope this helps. Lemme know if you need any more info.

The phone’s full retail price is $ 530, which is what it would cost you if you bought it from Verizon. If there’s another line on your account eligible to upgrade, you can take their upgrade if you want. Otherwise, you might be able to find one cheaper online but keep in mind that with this option, the phone will not have any kind of warranty and is ineligible for insurance. Also, with any phone bought online, there’s a risk of it life lost or stolen. So get the ESN from the seller before you buy, and authenticate it with Verizon, if that’s what you end up doing.

I just bought a HTC HD2 and within the first day im having freezing, random resets and lag. ive done a hard reset and have the the most up to date software. is there anything i can do to solve this conundrum on my own or is it a manufacturer conundrum??

Answer by The Phone geek
Take it back and get another phone additional than the HD2 i suggest an Android phone.

Just research it online its a buggy, laggy phone with all kinds of problems. Also windows mobile isnt the best OS. Its like windows you have to run task administrator and kill running apps. everything you open runs in the back ground until killed thru the task administrator.
