What's the difference between the iphone and the "clone" phones?

I was shopping on ebay and they have a cell phone that looks like a iphone but isn’t an iphone. It looks as though it does the same things and works the same. So is there any difference besides the name and price??? Has anyone owned one before or now???

I know that there are a lot of iPhone-clone in China. The OS of most of knockoffs called MTK. Some are using Windows Mobile or Windows CE.

I want to get an iPhone 4g for my girlfriend for her birthday but am plotting on canceling the ATT plot with an early termination fee.

How much will the cost of the phone, termination fee and initiation fee cost?

$ 36 – Initiation Fee
$ 54.99 – Voice & Data Plans
$ 325 – Early Termination Fee (you’ll have to wait 30 days to cancel the contract, because they will take the phone back beforehand)

There is a no contract option
$ 599/$ 699 – iPhone 4 (16GB/32GB)
$ 36 – Initiation Fee
$ 54.99 – Voice & Data Plans

If you’re plotting on putting it on another network make note that cancelling the contract doesn’t unlock it. You will still have to do that on your own.
